ALCOY dolomite deposits is situated at the municipality of Alcoy in the southern part of Cebu Province, Philippines. It is a huge deposit of uniform grade with an estimated reserve of 230 million tons (15 million proven; 215 possible). The ore body is characterized as a bedded lenticular form intercalated with limestone (Carcar formation) of the Plio-Pleistocene era. |
